Ya, I'm so glad I didn't trade, I think I can wait a while for a bike. I'd much rather have my ///M3, thats why I got it in the frist place, I looked at many a camaro and trans-am, but came across a ///M3 and drove 6 hours to get it...If not, i'll just take out a loan, and owe even more money. :banghead: And a correction, the LT1 is less powerfull than the LS1. The Ls1 is like the same thing in a c5 vette if I am correct...

The LS1 was used in alot of things. The Vette, later model Camaro's, Firebirds/Trans Am's, and the new GTO to name a few. The LS1 was basically used in all the cars they continued making after they discontinued the LT1 because the LS1 is the replacement for the LT1, which also makes sense as to why its more powerful

The LS1 was in the 97 Corvette (C5), but was introduced into the camero in 98.

I've driven a Camero SS twice, and I loved it. The power is great, and handling isn't that bad. Granted its not as good in the turns as ours, but its acceptable.

Don't bother with the Z28. They're like **** with an engine.

I would NEVER buy a GM vehicle. No matter how fast it is or how well it handles.

Well, i'm a chevy person, if I was forced to get an american car, it would be a chevy, you couldn't pay me to have a ford or dodge.

American trucks, on the other hand, are the ONLY way to go...I'd get a Chevy too.

ah I gotta go against all american cars, trucks or cars. The only reason to go American IMHO is if you need ridiculous amounts of power for towing/hauling. I'd take a Tacoma, 4runner, Titan, etc over an F150 or Silverado. American trucks are not cheap and still don't have the high refinement, fit and finish of imports (Nissan maybe excluded here for fit and finish). But back to cars..glad you stayed w/ the M3.

Enough Chevy bashing. While I would never trade my M for a camaro, they are great for what they were built for. Fast speed at little cost. You can pick up a used one for a great bargain, get mods for much cheaper than the M, and be so much faster it is not funny. They did exactly what they were designed to do.

Kind of like the Neon SRT-4. Not designed to be a luxury vehicle, or have the same build quality as our M's. But for just over 20,000 you can have a brand new one and have a very fast car. For a few grand, a VERY fast car.

The M3 was a much more expensive car when built new and designed for sport and luxury, not to mention can handle turns very well. It is is a nice overall car.
