Eh. Between my exhaust and BOV, I can't hear much. But maybe on a quiet morning on some backroads that may be different... I'm a city boy, so it's loud around here.

I'm actually about to swap my BOV to something a bit more quiet.

Thanks guys. They're 9.5" & 10.5" both et22. They fit perfectly on my e90 with 265/285, but they won't fit (275) on e46 without cutting/sanding/rolling. So to avoid that, I'm running 265 (cup2s) square. Not super ideal as far as the rears looking a little anemic, but when I get an alignment, I'll create a little more room and add in 3 or 5mm spacers to fill it out a bit more. Then up front, reducing the toe-out and cambering them in more will make them fit and look a little better. This is not a performance thing exactly, though light weight 18s do deliver on that, but more an aesthetic mod at this point for me.
