    Turns out my front left tire had an internal failure and bubbled. They were not used but probably had been sitting for too long. Still got a fun day out of them and I love the 17 inch wheel look.

    Anybody have suggestions for slicks/r compound 275/40/17s?

    I feel like it will be really special to drive those M3s you built up here on the autobahn. Whenever I travel somewhere with cool roads I always daydream about having my cars with me, I did so this very day in the Canadian Rockies in fact. Prolly even more special in your homeland. Enjoy it.

    Mounted my dream wheels today. BBS LM 18x8.5 et18 245/35 18x10 et25 +5mm spacer 275/30. Think I am at around -2.6 front and -1.8 rear. Front and rear fenders are shaved.

    Spend the entire day adjusting height and tilty tilty and I think I nailed it! Might raise the rear a hair more. No rub! (so far). First pic is before adjustments.

    Love the Hamann theme! Brings me back to those days, my buddy had Hamann rims on his 330ci. I was rocking Oettinger REs on a B5 A4 at the time. Very period appropriate!
