Orange lenses are like the polo shirts of the lighting world, always worse than a button up. It looks ok on oxford but clear with amber bulb still looks cleaner with more visual interest.

Exactly, it’s color theory. I like the orange on purple and blue. Looks good on black and white too.

Orange turn signals aren’t exclusive to JDM. Many European cars also have it including 911s.
