Theres actually an event next weekend! You should definitely try and make it. I'm not 100% if I'll be driving but I'll be there.

Here's the link to the event page:

Event by Dreamers Of Drift on Saturday, December 21 2024 with 114 people interested.

Buttonwillow track day at the beginning of the month, before all these shitty fires fucked everything up:

I have to get used to driving with the wing now. The car has noticeably more grip in the rear, but I kind of miss the dancing-on-the-edge feeling it had pre-wing. I can't decide if I should add front splitter or go back to wingless...

How is it for you guys, still fine by your house? I feel very fortunate and my heart goes out to everyone who’s lost their homes. I know a handful of people who have lost it all (I’m sure every Angelino knows at least a few)

Fantastic shots. I especially love the CSL front end coupled with a perfect lowering job with some crazy dished wheels. So many people don't have an eye for proper suspension heights in BMW M land. The front should have more gap than the rear as BMW delivered from factory. Dragster rake all too common.

                Well done!

We're up in Eagle Rock, we got evacuated early on but we're back in our house with power now. My parents in La Cañada went back to their house today. We'll see what happens now since the winds are supposed to pick back up over the next couple days. I know so many people in Altadena, basically the next town over, that lost houses, it's fucking tragic. But yea my family is safe. Thanks for checking.

Thanks man! It's on swift springs with MCS dampers and corner balanced so the suspension is functional at that height too. I agree, a lot of people run too much rake.

It was just sunny enough to go for a quick drive to keep the battery fresh. Click image for larger version

Snapped a couple of photos outside my building after a car show in June. Getting back into shooting with a real camera after a decade of just relying on my cell phone.
Carbon Black looking like Carbon Black should look... as is Chicago... Well done.

Threw the new track wheels on. Trying out the square 265/35 stretched on 10.5” width wheels. Previously ran 275/35 on 10” wide ARC8 square setup. These forged 18x10.5 VS-5RS are actually lighter than the smaller ARC8 they replaced.

10.5" fronts are still wild to me, love your car though

I ditched the HIDs for the basic halogens. I just love the twin reflectors, my nod to the heritage (plus a few pounds off the nose). Hard to pick up in the photo, but I also lightly tinted the chrome grills and corner lights. I may have to go a shade darker on the grills but corner lights are exactly what I was going for, still OEM, just knocked the bling off.
