    Brembo BBK on eBay

I was browsing for a set of ZCP calipers when I found this link. The seller is presumably in Oakland, CA, and offers this Brembo package for e46 M3's in any color. Not sure if the seller is a forum member over here or if anyone has purchased this set from the seller.

I can't speak to the rest of the setup, but from the picture those are not brembo rotors/hats.

      No thanks.

This just seems like a terrible, terrible, TERRIBLE choice to buy. Unknown parts from china for your brakes. Yikes.

I see what you did there.

And I will stay far, far away from made in China hats. Rotors are whatever but hats are slightly more important.

Looks like they are using porsche/audi/VW 18z calipers... ok, that's cool, but how do you buy replacement discs? Also the super detailed description that Obi points out above is not very confidence inspiring. I'd pass.

Also, it’s actually cheaper to buy brand new Stoptech ST-40s with 355 discs (front only) than buying this setup

But that “setup” includes front and rear brakes.

There's a company in China called "Dickass" brakes that makes a lot of knockoff Brembo BBKs. I wonder if those rotors are a product of this company

I would bet money those calipers are counterfeit Brembos.

After buying that BBK from Dickass, that's exactly what you end up with in the end, a Dickass. No freaking way.

They appear to be used Porsche Cayenne calipers (which are legit Brembos) that have been powder coated. If you look at the caliper hardware holding the pads in it has some surface corrosion on them because the seller was too cheap to buy new ones. Still somewhat sketchy as I bet the seller only powder coated them and did not rebuild them
