I re-aimed my headlights many moons ago and they work incredibly well.

I always chuckle a little when people complain about output when they're lights are pointed down.

Damn, and here I was thinking what the hell that little doohickey was all this time. Pretty sure mine came off when I installed my coilovers and I just never noticed it until I was doing a brake job and my dad pointed it out to me. God, I’m so glad this forum exists for morons like me.

One of mine was zip tied by the previous owner, but the zip tie failed. Obvious decision was to double up on fresh zip ties, no issues since.

You've inspired me to get around to doing it - pretty easy and doesn't take much time. Boy it's such an obvious improvement over how it was before:

It's going to change your life man.

I do, however, occasionally hit people's driver side view from a few cars back to the left of them hahaa.

There is another sensor on the right rear also.
2 needed to determine the azimuth. 😁

I'm running the H&R rear ride height adjusters. They're adjustable from below (without disassembly) like the GCs, but no monoball to make noise. They also spread the load over the control arm nicely, so they shouldn't crack the control arms like some ride height adjusters do. I'm pretty enthused with them.

LOL plus one on the ziptie.
Mine was broken, bought a new one. Broke it while trying to install it, so then I zip tied it. Been fine sincd

                    New problem

When turning at a pretty good clip, the traction control light flickers. Its not cutting power though.

I wonder if the front inside tire is lifting up now. Not much droop with these coilovers.

Running a square set-up with 255s all around.

Any ideas before I stick a GoPro on the front fender?

I am going to check those H&R rear adjusters.

Did you align the car yet?
Get it aligned and make sure the steering angle sensor is reset if needed.

Bringing it in tomorrow for alignment.

Good point on the steering angle sensor. I wonder if that can be done with the Schwaben tool.

Yeppers. I have the reader and have seen that function.
live data on the tool will tell you the status of the sensor.
The car will need to re learn what it thinks are different driving habits and adjust. Mine seems to get a little tetchy if I plod. I'm typically er, "enthusiastic".
The new "nut behind the wheel" 😁. May need to slow his inputs to match the faster suspension and give the tires a titch more notice.
The alignment should be a revelation.

I am bringing the Schwaben with me even though this shop does lots of BMWs just in case.

I took a long sweeping entrance ramp to the tpike today and 9/10s (of my ability) and the traction control lit up like a xmas tree and I could feel it intervening. Hopefully alignment and steering reset fix the issue.

Will update the thread later on.

Unfortunately they had to put the car on the rack twice in order to get the steering wheel pointed straight and I had to stay after they closed. In the rush I forgot to ask or check and they never reset the steering sensor.

The car handles incredible well, but the light shows up on longer sweepers.

On the way home I was following an SS 1LE Camaro through some roundabouts and he could not shake me off. There are five very tight roundabouts near my house, he is probably still thinking what is wrong with his car, lol.
