Gonna have to re-shoot the whole car. That sucks super hard. I fucking hate people who drive giant trucks and don't pay attention.

Callas Rennsport has a body shop LOL, if you have fuck you money and want the best with absolutely no holds barred. Kings is "pretty good" for budget friendly stuff but I dunno if this is in their wheelhouse. Esposito is overrated and overpriced. Don't go there.

Mini rant, I have never had a body shop experience that I walked away from truly satisfied. And everytime I ask car people with high standards if they have a great body shop recommendation, they are always like "EHHHHHH" Like no one has a great referral to offer up right away. It's extremely hard to find a great body shop that doesn't have a year or two wait list, and who can get a job like this done for under like $20k

Maybe PCA has a list of vetted shops for air cooled cars or something like that.

^Agree with Nate on everything. Body shop recs are like NY pizza recs, no two answers are ever the same.

I'm surprised there aren't at least a few superlative body shops in socal and always joke with friends that I should start my own.

Too bad there's no mercedes classic center equivalent like in Irvine.

Thank you all for the recommendations.
My P with the super rare original 57 years old paint (1966 production) with matching engine and transmission numbers commands high value, and the repair will diminish it big time; I will fight her insurance to ask for fair compensation.
What’s a headache for no reason.
She must be on the phone as I don’t believe that she couldn’t see my car in front.

This one sold for $137,944 on 10/28/21 -- same year and option as mine, which currently wears the rare Fuch wheels (but have the original chrome wheels too)

Believe or not, my original engine case have never been opened for rebuild -- still factory original engine.
