    I use these for the intake clamps they literally have them all off and on in seconds

        OP, before removing the intake, if you don't trust the engine coolant temp sensor reporting correct data -- too hot -- then just wait until the hidden display mode on the dash shows 100C or higher, then spit on the Tstat housing (the cylinder head pipe is even better if you can get on it) to see if it's sizzling. If not then sensor is wrong.
