Compatible headlights for 2002

I have an 02 coupe with bixenons looking to replacek both headlight assemblies due to broken tabs. Will any post 02 build bixenons be compatible with my lcm- or are there any nuances i should be aware of?

No headlamp differences 2002-06 on the M, and the pre-facelift (2002-3/03) garden variety 3 series cpe/vert passenger side lamp is the same. Driver side headlamp on a non-M 3-series cpe/vert can be modified to work on an M3 by extending the wiring for the ballast to allow mounting on the fender apron (it's mounted on the headlamp assembly in the non-M). The LCM won't care what they came out of if you're replacing like for like.

The bi-xenons came out around 3/03 I believe and the lenses are different though not materially.

I have an 02 and im pretty certain its bixenon unless im mistaken? Both headlights and highbeams come from the outer xenon bulb

I was mistaken, per etk looks like the switch was made for my02 and up so then yes.
