Hmm, wonder why there is a pretty big bump between 2003 and 2004 cars.

I believe there was a small design upgrade between 2003-2004. Thats why you'll see some p[eople refer to their 2003 m3 as a "2003.5" meaning its the updated version

New LED taillights, navigation, rod bearing recall. Just to name a few things.

Wow, I knew the prices were on average going up, but $23,000 for a 2004 6spd in fair condition? Does that actually jive with current market prices everyone else has seen?

The market for our cars has thinned substantially from when I bought in 2014 so I imagine the variance is pretty high, but I didn't think they had actually crept up that much.

2003.5 differences that I know of.

                    - Different trunk upper trim piece
                    - MK60 vs. MK20 ABS
                    - LED tail lights
                    2004 Silbergrau Metallic 6MT

Yes, that seems fairly accurate, actually.

I have Mk60 in my Sept. 2002 build. so i think there is a small overlap time on that one

Absolutely. Pristine examples are going north of 100K now. Give it 5-10yrs, will cross 200K.

SMG values will eventually catch up as the CSL transmission, "period correct" and the one that matches the car perfectly, low mileage SMG survivors that weren't butchered in conversions will fetch top dollar.

Remind me in 10yrs to see if I'm correct.

Seems like such a great thing unless your not making large sums of money and just want to drive these vehicles.
If I walk through a gravel lot I'll kick my feet together as I'm getting in as not to introduce any debris onto the NLA floormats. Fuck that shit.
