    After decades of reading British motor journalism, I feel like you can safely assume home UK brands (Aston, Jaguar, Lotus, etc.) get the fullest love-fest, then Euro makes, then everyone else. It's not universally true but largely the case in my experience.

        I do like that we've managed to have more than 10 different engines that people are surprised weren't on the 10 best list.

          Kind of, but Jeremy and James loved Type Rs of all sorts except for the 8th gen hatchback LOL

            I think they started to appreciate Type R's only when the CTR was exclusively made in the Swindon factory.

              Superficial and very subjective list. I can name at least 15 engines off the top of my head that i'd have there over the ones selected. But....overall, all of those are quite good too.
