Anyone know of any chassis mount tie downs that can be permanently mounted? Looks like Condor makes the rear hooks for E46 but I can't anyone that makes a front subframe mount solution for tying down the front end. I know you can use the J hooks but having to constantly remove and install the jackpads is a PIA. Looking for something that can be mounted and left there indefinitely.

I looks like the front subframe mounts that are made for E36 use the lollipop mounting holes which I imagine gets in the way of the torque plate on the E46. If anyone knows of any other options please post it!

Upgrade your E36 with Condor Speed Shop's high quality performance parts such as our engine mounts, brake lines, rear subframe bushings, and more!

Sounds like the OP has it under control, but don't use crap ratchet straps (i.e. Harbor Freight, etc.).

When using wheel straps/nets, it would be smart to make sure the wheels and straps are as clean as possible as dirt is abrasive.
For this trip, I'm looking for a quick and safe method and running through the wheels/spokes seems to be our best option. It'll be on the trailer for 500 miles or so. The wheels are flawless which is scary because I don't want to damage them in anyway way, but that works to my advantage because I can wipe them down thoroughly before running the straps.

I went with the Mac's ratchet straps and I opted for the 42" cushioned wheel straps with an additional fabric sleeve that goes over the strap. My hope is to still get an 18'-20' trailer with e-track installed for future use so I can go around the tires, but that will not be for a little while.

We will see how it goes. Mac's certainly has had awesome customer service and the product seems like it's very high quality.

You will not be disappointed with Mac’s. Just don’t strap over the valve stem.
