For those who've changed their 6 Speed E46 M3 Transmission fluid. Did you completely flush the entire Transmission, including lines, pump, and cooler. I'm curious, because I'm about to do this and I'm wondering if going from BMW MTF LT-2 Transmission Fluid to Pentosin FFL-4 Transmission Fluid is it ok if the two of those Fluids mix or should should everything be flushed. Was just thinking that quite a bit of the existing oil would be in those components and wanted to make sure they're similar enough that any mixing won't be an issue.

I flushed OE MTF-lt-2 (60k) and put in the FFL4 into a friends gearbox, and all seems well. I've been a GL4 75w80 only holdout, but even I may need to give in soon.DD: /// 2011.5 Jerez/bamboo E90 M3 · DCT · Slicktop · Instagram

Alright, I broke down and bought the FFL4 from FCPeuro for lifetime replacement, and it was on sale for $25/L.
Just discovered that the MTF3 (75w gl4) I'd been using (in steelgrey car) is mineral oil, not full synth. But it was good to clean out the tranny after 123k miles of OE fill anyway, so now I'll try the FFL4.DD: /// 2011.5 Jerez/bamboo E90 M3 · DCT · Slicktop · Instagram

Maybe a dumb question but for the Pentosin FFL-4 transmission fluid, is there a difference between the DCT vs. manual versions? I mostly see the DCT version and even FCP has the picture of the DCT version in their "manual" listing: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...-23117527440kt
