lol but that argument is no different than "meh on M exclusive colors, remove PY and LSB and there's nothing left". Lagos is just as special and iconic as PY and LSB. I'd kill for a clean Lagos on Cinnamon or M texture, or even a ZCP Imola on M texture.

Reading into the mk60 literature, it seems like the main inherent advantage is that it can mimic a mechanical lsd. So given that the m3 came with an lsd out the factory to me it seems moreso that at some point it became too expensive to procure two modules for one chassis and bmw moved the m3 over to mk60. Obviously the consensus is that the mk60 is less intrusive than mk20 but thats more of a software rather than hardware limitation id imagine

also the black armrest on cinnamon is something i cant unsee

I don't know what this shadowline is on the zcp that you guys speak of. All m3s come with shadowline trim.

*edit - you guys mean high gloss shadowline, completely forgot this was ever offered on us spec m3s

I actually prefer the standard matte shadowline myself.

Sounds like a bunch of ZCP envy Hate goin on here. A standard E46 M3 compared to a E46 M3 ZCP is like comparing a base model 1970 Barracuda with a Slant Inline 6 cyl to a 1970 Hemi 426 Cuda or a Porsche 914 to a GT2 RS. Put my ZCP next to standard E46 M3 at a Dealership with the same price tag on um and 10 times out of 10 my car sells first. Sorry if I'm a little biased towards ZCP's, but if I could go back in time I'd buy 10 ZCP's, unless one of those fancy Laguna Seca Blue ones happen to be sitting there with all those fancy Buttons on the Steering wheel.

I think the comparisons you listed have maybe wandered off the reservation a tad. Just spit ballin' here, mind you.

Your comparisons cannot be considered equal to that of the difference between a standard M and ZCP. The ZCP has marginal “upgrades” when stacked against a normal M3 which won’t really enhance the driving experience by much. Obviously a 1970 base Cuda and a 426 or the 440 Cuda will perform vastly different because of not only the engine, but the brakes, suspension, differential, transmission, interior, etc. This comparison would be as if you compared the M3 to the M3 GTR.

I'd want a ZCP because everything a ZCP has (steering, brakes, minimalist steering wheel etc.) I'd want to do eventually. So it would tick some things off the last right out of the gate.

Man, this poll is a hung jury right now. 24 yes, 24 no.

This poll has to be rigged.
