Rattling noise coming from rear right while accelerating fast

Hi all, I just picked up an E46M 6spd. The car makes a rattling noise (nothing like a heat shield) when accelerating fast (doesn't do it if you accelerate slow). Any idea what it could be? Car has 167k miles on it.

Could be anything from a broken subframe, to worn diff bushings, to a driveshaft center bearing. Someone has to get under the car.

i went underneath it I couldn’t see anything wrong with it. I do plan to drop the subframe and reinforce it.

however, I was going through the service records and found out when a shop installed diff bushings, they mentioned the diff has excessive backlash. Does that mean my diff is bad?
