    Rear subframe reinfocement recommendation

Hi all, I just picked up an E46M with 167k miles. The goal for this car is to be a street car that will also see track day. So a dual purpose car. On my last E46M, I used all OE lemforder rubber rear end bushings. But with this car, I'm sort of lost. I've been looking at the CMP solid bushings and the CMP stage 1,2, and 2.5 kit. What are the advantage of solid cmp subframe bushings compared to AKG bushings? I would also like to add, my car has AKG subframe bushings but the subframe hasn't been reinforced (weird) I know.

The CMP solid bushings raise the subframe into the car to correct the geometry if your car has been lowered. They also don't affect NVH much if any at all.

I have the Parts Shop Max bushings on my car, which do the same as the CMP bushings but are a bit cheaper.

EDIT: Looks like PSM increased their prices.....

Do the Parts shop max bushings have any NVH?

I ordered the CMP bushings but due to international shipping suspension, I may be in a picke.

I ordered the full stage 3 reinforcement from CMP, it was shipped on Jan 11 and delivered on the 24th. I don’t know if anything has changed since then.

I ordered mine January 21th and it was showing that it was waiting to depart Australia on the 28th but it's had 0 activity since.

If it's going freight you won't see anything until it pops up on the shore. I ordered CMP bushings and RTAB's last year, of course, logistics at that time wasn't a complete mess. I believe he sent them to me air though, so you may want to follow up with that tracking number.

I did whatever the express option was, because it was like $220 vs $210. I got an email from CMP with a tracking number and an email from Australia Post at the same time.

No noticable NVH increase whatsoever. They are all basically the same design, cylinders of aluminum, so I think any solid subframe bushings would suffice.
