Laguna Seca 90db with a Dinan axelback?

Hey Folks,

Does anyone know how loud our cars are with the basic Dinan S2 package? I have the intake, TBs, and exhaust (so no headers, stock cat), plus a 4.10 final drive. I signed up for a track day at Laguna Seca next month and there's a 90db limit. I've been told to just upshift at T5 to not exceed where they measure you.

Would appreciate any advice!

Should be fine. Catless headers really increase sound, and aftermarket mufflers, but dinan muffler is mild.

RE muffler with all stock passed, so DINAN should not be a problem.

You will be fine with your current setup and you will not need to short shift between turn 5 and 6.

My previous exhaust setup was catless headers, resonated section1, stock section2, Dinan muffler, and an intake and this setup passed sound on 90db days. I did a sound check when they first announced the switch from the standard 92db days to 90db days as I wanted to make sure I would still pass sound and with the aforementioned setup it was ~88.8db. Despite the exhaust being a bit heavy this was actually the reason for keeping my exhaust setup the same for so many years as it would pass sound at Laguna.

Full throttle through that section on a 90db day.

OP you're probably at 80 db, nothing to worry about.
