I daily'd a 4.8iS for 3 years.
Would never do it again, holy hell it's so awful lol.
Car itself not moving or on, is really cool though haha

Definitely restore the all roadOriginally posted by maw1124 View PostI’ve been looking at the Macan to replace the Allroad, just because now that the kids are grown I don’t need quite so much cargo space (soccer, scouting, camping, etc.). Yet it gives me everything the Allroad does and goes turns and stops the way I need it to. Also considering “restoring” the Allroad, so there’s that.

I cross shopped both the X3 and Macan and the cargo space is where it’s not even close. 28.7 cubic ft vs 17.6 cubic ft.Originally posted by DoubleSidedTape View Post
Actually yes. I had thought the Macan was smaller but comparing new cars, it’s the same length as an x3, but an inch wider and a couple inches lower.
Trust me, I really wanted the Macan but didn’t fit my needs.

Thanks! The M3 was my daily/only car for nearly 14 years but I needed something with more room and wanted to give the M a break from winters. And I can't just get a regular truck, so...Raptor haha. The wife took a while to come around to that logic, but now that we have it she wants one of her own!Originally posted by dukeofchen View Post
Insanely jealous! The Raptor would make the perfect complement to the M, at least for me / my purposes. Until that day comes, the M is the daily, but it's in the cards.
The perfect garage for me in terms of character / driving experience / purpose would be:
E46 - Beautiful, nimble, hauls ass (okay maybe not compared to cars these days)
Raptor - Brawny, versatile, seats 5 comfortably, hauls shit
i3 - Quirky, efficient, city-friendly, but still fun

I second this. So much valuable information on there. I have bascally learned everything about my 4runner from that forum. I hope to get 350,000 plus out of mine. Sitting at a cool 197,000 right now.Originally posted by LVMESM46 View Post

nice pickup! Those wheels looks like steelies from far away.Originally posted by MTiz View Post
You'll love what I just picked up yesterday
12v VR6 with a 5-speed manual. Bone stock, new clutch, timing chains, and a bunch of other maintenance. Even came with heated leather seats. I'm torn between keeping it a quiet comfortable daily or turning it into another loud slammed Mk4 😛. Black wheels need to go though I hate them with a passion.
Hopping back into the M3 after driving the Jetta feels like getting into an F1 car lol.

Since I'm in Wyoming and my M3 is in Ohio, I DD a 2006 Wrangler Rubicon.
