Best LCI tail lights for Pre-LCI cars ?

I have an '01 convertible I am looking to put LCI tail lights on

Which is the best quality aftermarket tails - looking for plug and play - not looking for OEM tails that require a rewire.

    Thanks !

I know you specifically asked for aftermarket tail lights, but just thought I'd mention that BMW makes an adapter harness for the OE ones. No rewiring needed, but you might need a newer LCM.

Still need coding though, even if you have a new enough LCM (after 09/2001 iirc).

That said, aftermarket tails are ew.

        This 1000%.

I ran eagle eyes before going to my amber oem LEDs. Trust me, going oem and using the adapter is the way to go. Having an 01 like myself, you’ll probably need a slightly newer LCM, which will require very minor coding. Any competent BMW shop should be able to take care of it.

The big thing is that the cluster, dme, and LCM all are coded together, as to avoid a tamper dot on your odometer.
