Injectors back from RC Fuel Injection - Readings

I find it strange that the injectors have a pattern of getting progressively worse from #1-#6. Any other thoughts, they look pretty bad yeah?

Anything to note, I'm in the middle of putting everything back together from a HG rebuild, just want to make sure I don't miss anything.

Edit:. HG was blown between 2-3, which both look the strongest.

Hey man. I might not be following your question fully, but what are you worried about? You had the injectors cleaned and they all have an "excellent" spray pattern now. Are you worried about the before and any possible symptoms or issues on your car that might have caused the "fair to dripping" lol spray pattern?

Genuinely don't see something I think you do...

But I do have a question! How many miles did you have on these injectors? EDIT: just saw your other thread. 80k is my assumption.

Did RC also replace the O-rings? I'm considering sending it there.

RC will replace O-Rings. I had them do mine a few months ago. The replaced the o-rings and filters. They actually give the old ones back to you, just in case.

Was just checking if the community saw something I didn't with the flow rates, the pattern of decreasing values from 2-6. Thought there could be something indicative of other potential failures. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I'd like to replace anything needed while I've got the engine half apart.

The O-rings were also replaced by them, great service and turn around time. They send a little baggie with all your worn parts.

Got it. Those numbers look pretty darn good to me. Less than 1% difference from top to bottom seems like "near as much makes no difference".

That said, I have no idea what they should be. All I know is that statistically speaking, that seems pretty good.

Pretty sure he's referring to the before values decreasing. I'd say just coincidence.

It is a little strange as is 2 and 3 still being pretty good whilst being the cylinders with the blown head gasket. Perhaps that somehow kept them a bit cleaner or even cleaned them when the gakset blew. I don't think that is a coincidence.

OK, dumb question, but i have to ask, did you label them when you sent them in? Either way, I think you're reading too much into it.

This is a great question. I didn't even contemplate the fact the numbering could have been arbitrary.

I do suspect, however, op did since he's so adamant about correlation between the leaking cylinders and the disparity with the well flowing injectors for those cylinders. If not then perhaps what's labeled 5 and 6 may in fact have been 2 and 3.

Hahaha great question and yes I labeled them when I sent them out to RC.

Did you ask RC any of these questions? They would probably put your mind at rest if it's searching for a definitive answer.
