That is so cheap.. these shops usually subcontract glass work usually $500 because they have to remove and install. I also didn’t see panel bond glue mentioned.. that stuff isn’t cheap either. They are basically doing it for $1000 after it’s all said and done.

Not to mention these guys have probably done a ton of these conversions so cheap and good? Not sure if you guys know how lucky you are lol.

Ah ok. Yeah, you will need a CSL roof bow and slicktop headliner. Other than that, just trim stuff.

I will say that I am buying a new OEM windshield, new front and rear windshield trim, a CSL roof bow, and a new front windshield cowl. Gonna try to do all the other trim at the same time as well.

Oh well then…that’s interesting. Good move as the oem headliners are now NLA.

I want to do it, but i don't want to make my phoenix yellow look tacky, I also think painting it kind of defeats the purpose

There is worse out there. Once I saw an ///M AMG Type R RS badged 530i with an ebay rear wing...mounted backwards. He was Asian...and we officially disowned him...hence the fact that he WAS Asian.

m3dragon's car had no expense spared on it. He bought it brand new and did a full CSL build with a 100k+ spreadsheet. That is a real carbon Vorsteiner roof. He swapped it out for OE CSL later on.
