Been doing some smoke testing today to seek out any vacuum leaks
I undid my intake plenum and rubber gloved all intakes.
The only place I could see smoke leaking from was the ICV pipe that connects to the plenum which I let vent to air as I had the plenum off.
I assume this is okay and doesn't mean fault with the ICV? I assume the ICV opens and closes to let air in to control the idle? But if the car was off and I was smoke testing the ICV should be closed? Therefore not letting any smoke out of its air intake pipe?
