Welcome to the club. After my ZCP was destroyed, I wanted to do a m3 wagon. I went as far as buying the donor wagon and had all the parts I needed but time 404. I ended up scrapping the project because I had a complete lack of time. I ended up buying my PY coupe just because I wanted another e46m3 and just fixing the subframe, brakes/suspension/bushings and replacing interior bits has taken me months. ugh adulting sucks.

What interior does the sedan have? Is that the one that we saw the nighttime pics of where the front fenders weren't quite authentic looking? (Almost exaggerated?)

I don't have interior shots, but here is a few pics of the sedan finished up, and the wagon, during its build.

Nice builds. Have yet to see a rear bumper that is perfect however. I just went with the M-Tech II kit for my Touring.

              Thanks for those pics, Derek.

Why do the front fenders look so much better on the wagon than the sedan? That's really strange, especially if they're the same part and the same body shop did the work.

I guess if I ever hit my pipe dream level and do the same work, mine will still be unique because of my brake/interior color differences and the fact that I'll use smoked corners, anthracite wheels, and OE Euro front bumpers. I don't care what anyone says, I the asymmetrical CSL one, and especially the replicas.

More interesting they spent insane $, fitted CSL bumpers, yet no CSL intakes ¯\_(ăƒ„)_/¯

Are the taillights on E46 sedans taller? They always look slightly off to me, like the ratio between the red and clear isn't the same.

They look great! At least you (and now us know). How do you mount the expansion tank? I don't see the brackets on the chassis after paint.

Yes sedan tail lights are slightly taller than coupe tail lights as well as the trunk lights.

I agree, but unfortunately the guys behind the scenes often receive the least credit.

I really don't know about the fenders. Are the OE fenders for the wagons and sedans the same on non M e46s?

Wagon and sedans share the same fenders, coupes are different. Two styles of coupe fenders, M and non-M (obviously).

2m autowerks sells M style fenders for sedan/touring - they're aftermarket but look the part.
