Welcome to the club. After my ZCP was destroyed, I wanted to do a m3 wagon. I went as far as buying the donor wagon and had all the parts I needed but time 404. I ended up scrapping the project because I had a complete lack of time. I ended up buying my PY coupe just because I wanted another e46m3 and just fixing the subframe, brakes/suspension/bushings and replacing interior bits has taken me months. ugh adulting sucks.

I don't have interior shots, but here is a few pics of the sedan finished up, and the wagon, during its build.Originally posted by Dave View PostWhat interior does the sedan have? Is that the one that we saw the nighttime pics of where the front fenders weren't quite authentic looking? (Almost exaggerated?)5 Photos

Thanks for those pics, Derek.
Why do the front fenders look so much better on the wagon than the sedan? That's really strange, especially if they're the same part and the same body shop did the work.
I guess if I ever hit my pipe dream level and do the same work, mine will still be unique because of my brake/interior color differences and the fact that I'll use smoked corners, anthracite wheels, and OE Euro front bumpers. I don't care what anyone says, I the asymmetrical CSL one, and especially the replicas.

More interesting they spent insane $, fitted CSL bumpers, yet no CSL intakes ¯\_(ăƒ„)_/¯TiAG 6mt Coupe | KARBONIUS | SUPERSPRINT | FIKSE WHEELS | OEM CSL | MILE END COMPOSITES | AST 5200 | HOTCHKIS | BREMBO | RECARO | BEISAN | CATCAMS | CP-CARILLO | TMS | RTD | ROGUE ENGINEERING | AKG MOTORSPORT | HTE PERFORMANCE

They look great! At least you (and now us know). How do you mount the expansion tank? I don't see the brackets on the chassis after paint.Originally posted by kaiv View PostGuess who did the full engine/mechanical prep, refresh and conversion on both that wagon and sedan and gets no credit?'09 HP2S, '12 R12GSA, '00 Black 323iT, '02 Alpine 325iT (Track Wagon), '02 Alpine 330iT

Yes sedan tail lights are slightly taller than coupe tail lights as well as the trunk lights.Originally posted by sina View PostAre the taillights on E46 sedans taller? They always look slightly off to me, like the ratio between the red and clear isn't the same.
He does awesome work, its a shame his name didnt get mentioned when other names were mentioned as well.Originally posted by George Hill View Post

I agree, but unfortunately the guys behind the scenes often receive the least credit.Originally posted by nextelbuddy View PostHe does awesome work, its a shame his name didnt get mentioned when other names were mentioned as well.

Wagon and sedans share the same fenders, coupes are different. Two styles of coupe fenders, M and non-M (obviously).Originally posted by Derek //M View Post

2m autowerks sells M style fenders for sedan/touring - they're aftermarket but look the part.
