Well, this is for my E90. R&T w/ GC street plates, 450lb eibachs front, 784lb (14kg) rear swifts. Still not as good as my MCS 1wnr on e46 😭. Wish I had not listened to those in the e9x world re: ohlins. They're good, even very good, but not great.

I'm hoping a revalve gives me the rebound control I'm looking for, at full soft, so as not to introduce any extra compression from the damper.

I got my Ohlins Dedicated Track from Tirerack. I love them. But you are on point, jarring on the street but at Sebring with the bumps it SOAKS it all up well. I have it set a few clicks below middle
I think they just take the standard R&T DFV dampers and revalve them for stiffer springs, then add the camber plates, shock mounts, etc.

Curious if they ‘beef up’ anything internally…piston, etc. though I doubt it.

One of the main things he does is RTR, so you receive them and they're ready for install. He offers a specific 3DM track setup, I believe Shariq runs this.

No need to beef anything up, just change up valve stack if anything

I have dedicated track ohlins directly from Ohlins I believe, I bought them off Tirerack.com

Mine came that way out of the box directly from Tirerack.

I reached out to 3DM and the pricing for converting the R&T to DT is quite reasonable. They also said they could convert the rears to a true coilover. I have everything CMP sold for the RACP in 2019 (6 point brace, 2x4 beam, etc.) and confirmed with Cayn @ CMP that I'd have no issues running a true rear coilover. Given this, is going true rear the way to go?
