Mechanic shop recommendation in Pasadena, CA area?

    Hi All,

I just moved to SoCal near Pasadena. Can anyone recommend a BMW specialist shop for a brake fluid flush? I know nothing huge, but I want someone who will care about their work and keeping my M3 nice as its mint and only 44k miles. I am the original owner (2006) and it has never been to a shop or dealer once (not even for the free warranty oil changes, don't trust them to do it properly), I've done all the service and repairs in my own garage (had a lift, tools etc). I am currently without my garage space becasue I just moved and really need to get the brakes flushed as its been in storage for a long time, so I can't afford to wait to DIY this item for when I finally get the garage built up again because brake fluid degrades with time just sitting... Thanks!

No one else but Matt, Tech Craft Performance. Matt or Kevin (San Diego) are the only tech's I'd entrust with work.

Literally shipped my car from Arizona to Matt last year for an overhaul of work.

Yup I could trust Matt at Techcraft Performance also. His shop is in Irwindale. You can check out some of his work on Instagram.

Thanks guys for the recommendation in San Diego, especially if I needed something major on it, but that's a long drive away for a brake fluid flush Looking for someone close by for this one minor item for now. Anyone else have a shop in the LA area?

DIY style places are always an option too. Something like this: https://urdreamgarage.com/

Matt is a good dude and is meticulous. His shop is small and that allows him to be thorough and control the quality.

Most of the cars he works on are pretty much m3s.

+1 for Matt / Tech Craft Performance. There's a reason why he's busy. Probably one of the most knowledgeable mechanics out there for the E46 platform.

I follow Matt on Insta and I am always impressed with Matts work, and comments . . . I have already began my journey with Kevin, if not I would be heading Irwindale to see Matt.

Interesting to hear the love for Matt. I had him install my RTD shifter and I was not entirely convinced he was the best. I took it to another shop to make the shift smoother after the fact, and I'm not sure if he didn't use gloves or what, but he left some of oily hands on my steering wheel and shift knob. That was my one experience.

Very knowledgeable, no doubt, but the lack of cleanliness prevented me from going back.
