Cant figure out how to change the title to 18 SQUARE SETUP
So I've run through lots of old posts today and alot has gone over my head..
I currently run 19" CSL reps with standard OEM shocks and Tein lowering springs (all previous owner fitted)
The time has come where one of the rears needs a replacement tyre and I feel like I'm ready to see what the 18" square 9.5 OEM style67 setup I have is like.
I've read that tramlining is an issue, but it's one I can deal with and one I don't mind much..
So as most of what I've read goes quite far over my head, I'm after some help and have some questions
1. Is the existing drop on the Tein lowering springs good for the 18s? How much lower/what drop from standard are people running on 18s?
2. I have a second hand set of BC BRs to fit, I've read I need more camber than original to get these wheels fitted and clearing of any rubbing.
So what's the ideal setup for fast road/track? Toe, camber etc
3. If the above is all setup for the 18's, in the occasion I want to swap back to my staggered 19 setup, will that be okay with whatever settings I have from point 2?
4. The tyres on the wheels are currently 265/35, will these be okay?
5. Is a 12mm spacer the right amount for the rear alloys to fit the arch nicely?
6. How do you adjust camber on the fronts of the BC BR when you can't see two bolts?...
Thanks!
