Dynavin hvac relocation bracket with 12v or 3a sub option?

Hey everyone, just got my Avin Avant 4 in and going to order the Dynavin relocation bracket.

    there is 2 options,
1st option- 2 usb option, one usb is for charging and the other is multimedia
2nd option- 2 usb option with one multimedia and other can be 12v or 3a

what would be better to get 12v or 3a version.
whats the difference between these 2 option?

here's the link to bracket and options

That bracket really ruins the flowing lines of the e46 interior, IMO.... especially the recessed control strip. I'd say just get the non illuminated ashtray OE BMW one for ~$100.

I can't find the oem one for a good price. All I'm seeing it's like $225 for oem. I'd rather one for the clean look but not at that price lol

Thanks! I finally found out why I was finding them for $225+

            there's a smokers package part # 51167001410. For about $225
and. Non smokers package part # 51167001408 for about $125.

difference seems to be the smokers version has the light up ash tray. Non smoker doesn't.

I can deal without the light up ash tray to save $100. Lol plus I can prob use my current non nav smokers package ash tray and light and mod it to work with new part.

part ordered through ecstuning. Was cheaper. Thanks for the help

Buying from ECS to save $5 is shortsighted with the soft touch interior parts given that fcpeuro gets you free replacement whenever you get a stratch!

Yup! That's exactly why I linked to FCP and not ECS.

Well didn't know that about fcpeuro. Never ordered from them, always did bimmerworld and ecs.

so they will replace certain items that get damaged?

Just for future, the double USB is really for dynavin radios as they have two USB ports. Any other market radio besides dynavin just get the 12v 3a version.

Man, these non-smoker relocations really jumped in price.

Waking up to ask question - which bracket do I need? I just want a fresh ash tray cover, it's all marked up. Ridiculously expensive I know. My car has both S609 Nav Screen and S441 smoker package. Ash tray does not light up. And how much of a pain is swap. TIA.
