      If you can keep the stereo harness intact...you can probably sell it for a decent chunk of change. But that will save quite a bit of weight. There's a lot of crap in the car that you don't need. The alarm system, latch points and rear seat headrests/belts are some easy ones.

      .5lbs here and there makes a difference. My car without the roll cage and no fuel - likely around 2325lbs. That's tin can level - dash, steering column, pedals, 1 seat, shifter, and harness.

        So I finally got around to this. Does anyone know what these are circled in red and can i remove them?

          Top on is bmw assist and/or Bluetooth.

          Bottom is BM53.

            So can the BMW assist be removed? Will anything have to be coded out? I searched everywhere on the web and cant find the answer.

              You can just unplug and remove it.
