The strange thing is, the track guy’s seem to be very happy with MK60 in various places. So it‘s possible only bad for stability control, that maybe the fluid doesn‘t stream fast enough to mk60 when it‘s not pressurized from MC.

I would love to hear some real world experience from someone. Mk60 in Mk20 place would be a very easy job. Only minor wiring.
    …under construction.

That would make some sense. When just abs is kicking in, your foot is pressurizing the circuit. Stability control interventions occur even when you’re not on the brakes.

Better ABS, faster responding, better traction control, and m-trackmode is available via programming.

And FAR less likely that the dsc will go into ice mode on track.

Right, but other than that? What about those with bbk?

Is this what facelifted cars come with or nah?

Performed this 3 or so years back on my swapped S54 Touring. The car is an 05/2000 build date, so decided to throw in the MK60 since I had access to a complete swap kit (donor car) and wanted to have everything as close to an M3. Yes, new lines are a must to route. The wiring portion wasn't bad. If anyone is interested on more specifics I can look back at my notes and see exactly which pins on the MK60 connector need to be routed over to the MK20 connector. I believe it was only 2 or 3, pretty easy. Everything else from the harness gets routed similar to the MK20 harness.

The coding I remember was quite the headache, as I originally forgot to swap over the newer steering angle sensor from the M3.

In the end everything turned out. DSC/ABS, M-Track mode, TPMS, etc, all work as should.

                    Some pictures I dug up.

                    MK20

                    MK"0"

                    MK60

Harness removed from donor car (wheelspeed connectors/sensors, YAW sensor, MK60 connector, etc)

                    Partitioned off to route

Routed from MK60 harness to tap into MK20 connector (stuffed old connector behind glovebox and capped off opening in engine bay)

                    Better look here
