Steering feel

Hello all, I have a weird issue that developed the last couple of months with the steering feel of the car. On idle the steering is heavy almost like no assist and that’s ok but on highway speeds with normal rpm’s it fees very light with no feedback.i Isn’t supposed to be the opposite?
What could be the problem? I did change the fluid like 5 years ago not flush the system just emptied the fluid from the container.

Have you checked the fluid level?

Fluid level is normal and it looks clean.

When was the last time the car was aligned?
Are you running excess neg camber to accomodate wheels/tires?

Nothing crazy in the previous alignment specs, however is been awhile since the last one. I will take it in and report back hopefully it will fix the issue

There is a coupler for the steering, when I did my rod bearings i had some of the extra stuff that is easily accessable or that comes off refreshed. I noticed that my steering was tighter/responsive. Could possibly be a factor.

Could also be shock mounts going bad.
