Wireless CarPlay rendered my mount obsolete. Haven't had one in quite some time and don't miss it sticking out regardless of location or brand.

Edit: I don't DD the M3 but still can't imagine why I would need a mount at this time. I suppose maybe some still have stock head unit and as such don't have stuff like CarPlay or Android Auto

Just bought aftermarket headunit myself. Was in the “has to look oem” stance for the past 12yrs. Can’t live with my outdated factory nav any longer lol. Apple CarPlay here I come!

I have it with the MagSafe charger. Works great. But if you hit a huge bump or drive very aggressive I could see how it would fall off. It falls off my M way more then my 325 i daily
