    anybody have experience with RS-Ultimate strut tower reinforcements?

    was browsing IG and ran into this company that sells what seems to be drift/race oriented items for the E46

    this piece looked interesting even though you might have to weld it on

    Oh man. On the surface this 100% feels like snake oil. They aren't stiffening a large expanse like an actual strut tower brace does. Seems like if this is the only thing you're adding, my bet is negligible difference. If used as "the last mile" of chassis stiffening, seems plausible. But even then...

      It looks sort of functional at its location. This is one of those, it may take .05 seconds off your time but how do you test that? It probably does what's advertised but is in no way necessary. It also seems to be a suboptimal location.

      Look at this placement.
