Best bet is probably to contact ASC fabrics and see if they'll custom make something for you. They do make alternate versions of m texture, so I'm sure they could do it. Question is is if they're willing to.

Not available for the E46 but there were other mtexture colours in the E53 X5. However it has a white/silver backing fabric. There was also red and blue in the same style both of which are super rare it's hard to even find photos of them. But tbh, mtexture is the closest to a black version that BMW ever made.

All that being said. All of those fabrics are long NLA and unless you found an X5 interior that you could rip up and use the fabric your chances of getting it are slim.

The other option is talking to Graham from ASC fabrics. He reproduces the mtexture fabric and it is pretty much a perfect replica. In theory he could make you a custom fabric with whatever backing you wanted if you just wanted all black but who knows how much it would cost.

Yea I already asked ASC Fabrics and he said he can’t offer it in other color patterns.

That was probably your best bet to get exactly what you wanted.

Have you seen m-texture in person? The colours are not as pronounced as a lot of photos make them seem and the backing is otherwise quite dark. Not to mention as a result of the depth of the alcantara, when you see it at an angle you pretty much just see the alcantara.

this is probably what you would want. It is a Perforated Alcantara with Black backing and the perforation is Square holes like M texture. Not sure if it is foam backed or not. Foam backed is usually what you want for Seat material.

That's super cool, haven't seen that before. 9002 alcantara which is stock BMW as well. Although IIRC mtexture is not 9002 it's a bit darker for whatever reason.
