    Kidney Grill CSL Airbox

Since I am going to be doing a pretty radical build, I wanted to keep along the line of that and obviously I need a CSL intake, however, I want one that sources its air from the kidney grills. I know BimmerWorld sells one (https://www.bimmerworld.com/E46-M3-C...cting-Kit.html)
    Questions:
    Has anyone run them?
    Any other brands?
what brackets/supports will support this addition?

Any help is appreciated, thank you

Ducting from the grill... As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. There are differing view points equal to Baskin Robbins’ 31 flavors (of which none are wrong intrinsic value wise) so I’ll hand it off to the pics to “speak.”

I'm looking at a similar airbox. The issue is for proper ducting you need to move the radiator and oil cooler. This is for racecars only as per Bimmerworld and other sources. If you're not prepared to relocate and remake potentially both rad and oil cooler, don't bother.

I understand that ill have to move the radiator and oil cooler, I need to upgrade both and get AN lines for my oil cooler that'll feed into an inline thermostat. How would the piping work, I assume just buy universal silicon hosing nd cut and bend it to size right? and Which brand are you looking at, I know there are a few others similar to this but Im going with BimmerWorld because I want to buy more form them in the future, and well their reputation.

And Motosport 24/KK Automobile does race cars and engines for our cars and infact they have this type of intake, and they sell a piece of carbon that allows the radiator to lie down along with the oil cooler, using the front apron to cool it. They use an e46 m3 radiator at least it looks like in one of their photos (Similar upper plastic pipe)

They make many many parts for this car that you can't get else where, they are located in Germany but they speak English and ship worldwide, I will shoot them an email this week.
I work with a steel fabrication shop and well probably end up making our own once we get the car, and if we do and it works, I can always make one for you. We work with aluminum as well.
