SG slicktop (a la CSL) with manual, non-heated seats, factory 6MT, MK60, seller being long term owner (15 years) and only 41K miles.
I feel like better presentation with some ZCP wheels and OE size Michelin tires would have taken this much higher. Or maybe it's the market sinking some more...

This will go the same way as the low mileage Estoril he finally sold.
Lists for stupidly high price on his site, doesn't sell for a while. Pimps it out alllll over the internet and social media for months. Eventually lists it on BAT with a hilariously high reserve purely to drive more engagement. Finally sells to someone for quite a bit lower than current asking price.

That seems to be the playbook. Happens a lot in the Porsche scene which is his main business.
this company is somehow able to curate some pretty unique color combo vehicles, they definitely cater to the wealthy collectors that have money but don't want to do the legwork for something unique
the price though, in this day and age that's called clickbait, and it appears to be working as intended

Makes a poor "investment" car
Makes a poor "museum/exhibition car"
It's a mediocre driver
It's too nice to be a track car
It would be at home as a weekend toy for an enthusiast who doesn't drive it hard into corners, but it'd have to be priced much lower.
At 150k honestly it doesn’t matter that it’s MK20, it’s not like someone will drive it enough to notice any difference…
That’s fair, but I still don’t see the allure at that price point. The color isn’t nearly special enough despite its “rarity” to command that kind of number — it’s only rare because it’s boring as far as Individual colors go…

Exactly. This is for a collection. Mk20 is only going to make a real difference for a tracked car. This car will never go near a track if it's even driven at all.
Still a crazy price though. Ought to be 10 miles on it for that kind of cash.
