I can see a scenario of an individual who owned one when they first came out, life got in the way and almost 3 decades later they are (very) well off and want to get one again, the best example available.

Or someone who admired it when it first came out but was out of their league... now they are millionaires and as above, have no issue paying for the best example available.

Though let's be realistic - it will most likely be a 'dweeb' as you say, a collector who doesn't know jack shit about an E46 M3.



Let's be honest - if money was no object, which one of us wouldn't want the keys to essentially a brand new E46 M3, manual '06 ZCP in white mind you, in year 2025! I'd have no problem writing the cheque.

it was dry ice cleaned, invoice is in photos. i know the shop that did the work, they did some work for me in the past and it's meh quality at best, the guy selling is local here in Houston.

How much does something like that cost? I'm assuming that while it makes it look better and cleaner, it also removes some of the protective layer and makes the undercarriage more susceptible to rust.

Individual midnight blue which seems similar to carbon black but less metallic; looks amazing in those night photos.

It has the extended leather option which is uber rare... though this one is black so it doesn't really pop. I feel like extended leather is only worth it with a more 'exotic' leather color.

This car probably had the undercarriage dry-ice treated, it looks so clean.

Not a current listing, but I snagged my E46 on BAT back in July. I was the #2 bidder, the winning bidder actually backed out but BAT put me in contact with the seller. I think it was a good buy, car is very clean, has been great so far.

EDIT… but I’m not hating though… that IS one of the best specs in this car to me… along with Carbon (or TiAG) over Imola, SMG or 6MT… just let the top down so you can see it, even if you need a separate track car

As I suspected, odometer buyers saw none of what we were talking about, paid over $45k for the car.

Interesting… I drove a Carbon over Imola SMG in Miami (and a 6MT at EAG) on the way to mine… also a Silver Gray over Imola in Jersey (listed incorrectly as “Silver” and not “Grey” with no pictures)…

I decided LIGHT colors show this car’s lines best… but not white (whatever you do).

So TiAG is where I landed.

Phoenix (or Dakar) over Imola wasn’t on offer

Very nice! Silver is nice but not ME. Silvery grey with Cin would be the perfect combo. Stock 19s too spaced out with the Bilstein Shocks and Eibach Springs combo (like i first did on my M3) nd the HT for summer or winter depending on where you live, Gorgeous cruiser.
