There's a formula to making those E9X engines reliable. And it includes adding a blower, which turns the car into monstrous fun. I want to say pistons, rods and bearings but I don't actually recall. My buddy / mechanic did it to his 6MT Sedan, so that prospect is intriguing to me, having used it a few times for a few days while he was working on this or that for me.

I think it was rod bearings and throttle acuators that were the things to replace in those cars. There's probably other stuff too.

That vert went for more than I would think it would have, but that thing is still like a time capsule. All that stuff is reversible if you wanted a close to stock or stock low mileage car.

Yes exactly. I really liked it but im going to wait for another year or so before buying one or maybe an M2 COMP but they'll both have to be for the states. I'm even looking at sedans like An F80 M3 for more reliability Vs an E90 M3 which is my favorite but that motor is just too risky....

Scratching my head at that one honestly. None of those mods ADD value to me. They more like subtract value. "Buy the odometer get the car for free" might explain it though.

You'll laugh so hard at this, one of the best cars we have used for the last 2-3 years is a Jeep Grand Cherokee, the newer Gen models (i hate to admit it but the comfort on that vehicle is great!)

Surprised this is sitting as cheap as it is. Even with it being Blk/blk SMG vert, 10K miles I thought would bring more then mid teens.

BaT final prices are sneaky because they don't include the BaT fee or your tax obligation. I've crunched the numbers when I was bidding on a car - 27.7 becomes over 31.

Then you'll have shipping on top of that if needed, thats 500-2000 more.

Hopefully people aren't learning how buying a vehicle works for the first time on BAT 😂

In my opinion, the color (interlagos) makes that whole spec. If they made that much of a mess in the interior, I can guarantee the paint is god awful and needs tons of help too.

If there's one thing I learned in my day, it's how nuanced and technical properly caring for your paintwork is.
