100% it's track rat material... I mean, when you see a car on BaT without a single undercarriage picture you already know what's up.

probably a worthwhile toy, especially for the track if that's your thing.
    Not with the supercharger installed.

Here you go Fellas... not a collector certainly but probably a worthwhile toy, especially for the track if that's your thing.

I saw that too and was curious. $20k in Aug of LY, $32k today on a 105k '01. New tires, bumpers painted, vanos overhaul, subframe mounts done, pulleys, filters, fluids, window trim, etc. I'm not a black car guy but that was worth a $12k improvement to somebody. CA loc didn't hurt I'm sure. Immediately made me consider flipping mine. 😁

Didn't know they were still using that. My '92 500E has that all over the engine block. Unsightly even if effective.

I'm on a phone but that might be rustproofing. Funny thing is that was my first job as a teenager back in the 80's. I don't know if it was still as prevalent in the '00s. We'd pick up the cars at the dealer, take them to the shop and rustproof them, then take them back to the dealer. I don't recall seeing any on my '05 car.

KW V3s getting dialed in on the LMs fresh off the plane from Japan. Vorsteiner CSL parts in the oven. Everything is neat and tidy as it should be on a 6K mile time machine. Had EAG preemptively replace the fan blade and clutch while there along with all rubber suspension bits, mounts and then some.

Hoping to accept delivery sometime February if things go as planned.

Stashing these just because I sleep better knowing I have parts redundancy
