    Cam Bearing Thrust Plate Torque


    Hi all!

    These are M8 bolts with a spring washer. There are 5 of them. I could not find the torque spec in the TIS. Looking up online tells me M8 should fall between 28-32NM. This seems terrifying-high as they thread into aluminum. The spring washer tells me they need less than that...

    Does anyone know?

    Check the important link at the top of the forum - there is a pdf file for torque spec on all fasteners.

      Yes, it's a great link, but this bolt spec is not in there. Here is the relevant page from that link - similar to what I posted above. Unfortunately, no mention of it.
