Newbie here but how does one pull together this information, for example the pie chart shows 1% of the e46 M3s were ordered in individual colors. I believe I own one of those and am curious to investigate how many were ordered in my individual color over the e46 production run in the US. Thanks!

      What's the color?

The BMW E46 M3 was one of the best platforms produced by BMW, and owning one is something special in its own right. However not each E46 M3 is equal, with several trims and features produced some examples are rarer than others. If you are still in the market to buy one, check the numbers before you make your next purchase, you never know when you when you find a unicorn!

This is where the data was sourced. I created a number of tables and cross-referenced every post re LSB to create the above. Haven’t been back there in a while, but that was all I could compile as of the date of my initial post.

As an FYI, I don’t have access to any production data. I’m just good at old fashioned digging.
