adding just euro cats will prob get you where you want to be.
sport cats will probably be louder but you can tone that down by adding resonators. Fair warning, the cheap cats only really work when they're hot. So cold starts and around town driving will still suck for you (and everyone else)

for countless reasons, you'll be better off figuring out a way to get cats on your planned setup
Cats aren't really an option because the motul oil I'll be running has a high zinc content that will just plug them up. Due to the advice/opinions stated here I'll probably end up with the ss sport muffler. It's smaller than stock so it should work with the hitch and it should also tone things down a bit

Thanks, currently I'm leaning towards just the high flow generic cats and maybe the one stock resonator if it fits. Thinking two AR20 resonators would quiet it down too much

No idea what you'll ultimately decide on the catlless headers but to chime in from my setup - I have stock headers with a dual resonator section 1, with a Corsa section 2 and 3, and I absolutely love it; it's really how I believe the car should have come stock. It's extremely quite on the inside with the windows closed for when I want to take long trips - but when I roll the windows down and really get on it, it sounds amazing. From the outside, all I get is compliments on how good the car sounds and when I had a friend of mine drive it I could absolutely agree. For me personally, I believe this is the best setup for this car as I've heard all types and am not about that extremely loud/catless + raspy sound. I'm not 18 and trying to be Brian from F&F haha I'm 33 and want to have a fun car that sounds good without causing attention. You could always sell the catless setup, get stock or euro headers and run this setup, that is if you want more of an OEM+ sound. Just my .02
