Retrofit of the DSP2 audio system from an E85 into my E46

    E83 and E85/86 DSP amps are exactly the same in hardware. They just change the outputs depending on coding.

    The rear door speakers are used normally, just the trunk ones are missing due to the subs.

    E85/86 coding has Front: High/Mid/Low and Back:High&Mid door only and Subwoofers (highpower)

    E83 is Front: High/Mid/Centralbass (highpower) and Rear: Door High/Mid

      I am still working on this! Latest update is on the software side, it is now possible to read and write the DSP2 module without having to rely on INPA or BMWScanner.

      With the help of Claude I managed to find almost all filter settings in the BMW coding data. Now I just have to figure out what filter is used with which channel connecting to which speaker.

      Hopefully I can create a complete suite to have a openly configurable 10ch DSP amp in the end
