I’ve seen the Supersprint custom order claim on the forums for years and tried pretty extensively to make it happen through both ECS and Schmiedmann. Neither could make it happen and I got tired of convincing them to take my $1400.

I’ve been a happy stock muffler peasant since.

Exhaust gasses cool substantially during their journey under the car .. I doubt 60 vs 63.5mm would make a huge difference by that point for an NA build. Looks like you’re going pretty all in so maybe give it a before/after test for the good of the forum Muffler swap should not require a retune, just a before and after dyno run.

Yes, I know. That’s why I posted what a said a few posts back. It was weird that I have read on the forums that Supersprint will do the full 2.5” but after speaking to them, they said that they do not.

My build will be a full NA build with the proven parts: CSL airbox, upgraded injectors, Schrick 280/272, SS stepped v1 headers, SS v1 catted section 1, SS twin 2.5” resonated section 2, SS street muffler, and an HTE tune. I am hoping for 360whp but I doubt that I will get it.

Unfortunately, the car is not stock now so I can not do any Dyno before and after. I will definitely do an after but a before is not possible.

Finally, I bought the SS Sport muffler. I have 3x E46 M3 so I will probably buy a SS Race later next year and switch between Sport & Race and see which I prefer.

I also plan to make a custom Titanium single exit true 2x 2.5’’ pipe merge to 1x 3.5’’ exit if I can find a Bimmerworld diffuser. This will be for the track car.

So for now, got SS Stepped V1 headers, HJS cats section 1, 2.5’’ twin tubes section 2 and Sport muffler

No, I have bunch of spare parts in the garage so installed a spare heat shield wjile it was still in the SS wrap!

I don’t think you can buy it separately. Only comes on OEM section 2
