    EWS delete potential issues?

I purchased a separate DME from Kassel with CSL software/tune. They did the EWS delete, will this mean my keyless entry will no longer work? Or is the module that talks with your key fob regarding keyless entry separate from the EWS?

Also, they have a sticker on the DME and my VIN is wrong on the sticker, not necessarily on the DME itself. So I'll have to plug in when everything is running and find out if indeed the VIN was incorrectly entered.

Would the wrong VIN cause any issues such as communication problems with any other modules/items on the vehicle?
If the VIN is wrong I'll send it back to be re-done but want to know in the meantime if I'm alright.

Kassel assured me no problems would result from having the wrong VIN on the DME except when read for a state inspection it would not pass.

Keyless entry will be unchanged. Vin won’t impact anything.

Have these two error codes posted below. Kassel said something about re-syncing the EWS, what does this do and how is this done? I did see an option in INPA tonight that said something similar to "EWS Reset"

It means the dme doesn’t have any EWS code stored at all. You can pair it with your EWS and undelete EWS if you want.

With mis-matched VIN's my vehicle experienced hiccups in the flashing process during tuning; we got it to work but it was pissing off the tuner. There were no issues using diagnostic equip and module communication.

I would send it back to Kassel for the correct VIN. Once I did that, during subsequent tuning, there were no more issues.
