DMG also has their own option with a similar modular design btw. I do like the rogue better though.

This is effectively a solid diff bushing, bolting the diff cover directly to subframeOriginally posted by bigjae46 View PostI'm not sure what this brace does. The span is so long between the mounting points???
I do wonder if a brace like this helps at all...

Same, just replaced mine with new OE during rear end rebuild, was ~$140 at FCP last April. Aftermarket ones do look blingy, thoughOriginally posted by STAATS View Postthis is awesome - I always hated this stock part because of the hollow tubes and got a lot of rust product out of the centre of them when I refurbished... I had looked at sealing them with Sikaflex or the like but never got around to it. this is a bit pricey but I would have definitely leaned into something like this when I did my rebuild. Now its mostly done and committed this will just be a pipe dream replacement in the long run haha

Literally just did this two days ago. I use a rubber jack puck but had the jack positioned so the integral pad/metal face just made contact with the v brace plate as the rubber puck compressed. Scuffed a bit of paint off.Originally posted by Casa de Mesa View Post
Anyone else accidentally catch the back edge of that plate and bend it while jacking from the subframe/cross member? Not that I've ever done that

I just scuffed mine. Think that it’s worth applying touch up on the spots or just leave it be? In the end it is a modular brace and not part of the chassis or subframe.Originally posted by heinzboehmer View Post
That plate is the only thing that's rusty on my car exactly for this reason
