Mine ordered from FCP is the NRF one as well though I ordered it under the Modine name on their page.

Update. I just called Modine, they no longer produce automotive radiators, or at least for BMW. So NRF is the new genuine radiator I assume.

THanks for the update. Hope NRF's QC is as good as modine's was for BMW 20 years ago. Did you find out if NRF's are made in Netherlands or China?

That info they didn't not provide.

FWIW, my box has the following sticker on it, suggesting that it was at least QCed in Europe . . .

                From their website.

                Manufacturing and R&D
NRF has 8 factories worldwide, 3 of which are in Europe and 5 in Asia. In Europe NRF has its own Research and development department with access to testing facilities and modern design software.

Modines are back in stock at FCP, $321. I want someone to order one to see what labels/markings are on it lol

Just placed an order for the 'Modine' unit from German Auto Supply. Will keep this thread updated when it arrives

I called FCP they're doing a Q&C ticket to confirm they're actually Modine and not NRF as they get them from a supplier and don't hold stock. I'll update this once they provide me confirmation.

I spoke to the dealer that I regularly purchase genuine parts from and asked for pictures of the “new” genuine radiator they ordered for me.

Based on the pictures I received of the new genuine radiator and my conversation with the dealer: there is no Modine logo; there is no NRF logo; there is no BMW logo; the part number is affixed to the bottom (or perhaps top) channel by way of a simple sticker; the only marking on the end tanks (as far as I can tell) is “PA66-GA30”. The latter is also present on my NRF unit.

Picture attached of the dealer-sourced radiator. I opted to stick with my NRF unit.

I should also add that I have done a good amount of research this week and am fairly confident that NRF = Modine. Happy to hear from OP, or others, with definitive answers though.

This place is starting to feel like an aircooled Porsche hangout.

My NRF has the same letters and numbers on the plastic tank. So fairly certain it's a NRF.
