Although enough time hasn't passed to truly evaluate the quality of the Turner boxes, they seem well made and fitment also seems to be pretty good. I guess it just comes down to if you want to run a snorkel/flap or not.

Sounds awesome!
I haven't made up my mind about Karbonius vs. Turner. Despite the shipping SNAFUs, seems like everyone is liking their Turner boxes.

I’m pretty sure it’s a result of the packaging. It was wrapped in thin foam, put in a bag and then tossed in a box with some brown paper. No fragile markings or anything and the box didn’t show up looking pristine.
I just returned mine and will get a new one sent with the new packaging. I’ll report what that looks like in a week or so.

Same thing happened to the Streamline’s airbox during initial production. Someone said that one of the pieces came off and it got caught in the throttle body.

Yeah if so many fittings are getting punched out during shipping, I wouldn't be surprised if they also start failing during/after installation.Originally posted by Cubieman View PostBut it does make me wonder if the glue they are using isn't strong enough period. Wonder if someone might get their box intact but then the piece drops in when they press on it for the connection.
Has anyone had Turner tell them why they think this is happening? Or has it just been "sorry this happened to you, we'll exchange it for a new one"?

The glue had a blue tint to it, almost like some pvc glues, although I know its got to be an epoxy.

Or worse yet, the glue softens in the heat of the engine bay and causes something to get sucked in.Originally posted by Cubieman View PostI sold mine as is and spent about 30 Minutes packing it, I had the woman at FedEx but probably a dozen fragile stickers on. Used small cardboard tubes around the parts that are getting knocked out. All they need is some form fitting foam or a box in another box.
I just payed $76 to ship it from NE>TN, please let it be ok!

This is not surprising. Everything I've ever ordered from ECS or Turner has been horribly packaged.
