There's a reason Bisimoto picked the Porsche market as his new pool of idiots.

Thanks for writing back antknee! I am still seriously considering one of these but similarly to you my E46 would have to go, and I'm not sure yet if I'm ready to make that trade. Need to find a couple to test drive.

In an ideal world I would always have an E46 M3 in the garage but it's hard not to want to get into something new from time to time. It's going to be a 981 or 718 2.5L GTS manual cayman for me I think. Just really don't want to get rid of the E46M for it.

Stock vs stock, the 981 GTS is more fun than the M3, but a well-modded/set up M3 beats the 981 IMO. I could never see myself replacing my heavily modded M3 with my 981 GTS. It did, however, replace my nearly stock M3.

Awesome! My first aircooled was an 1980 911SC and I had that for 7 years. Miss it dearly and prefer it over the 3.2 which I currently have. They're easy to tinker with, rewarding to drive, and have a ton of character.

No comment on the 911 vs M3 crowd... Aircooled folks in general are cool but the PCA guys with the new stuff are mostly dorks from my experience.
