The 'important' note is actually very important, don't ask me how I know...

Before dropping the trans you could do a test. I've never done this before but I suspect it would work.Originally posted by x Spades x View Post
Appreciate all of the help!
im on bleed 73 and i think im going to call it, on the INPA.
im thinking i should drop the tranny and try again, but it shifts smoothly otherwise. Hmmm
1. Remove the clutch slave.
2. Rig up some kind of jig that would act like the clutch fork. A large c clamp with an old clutch fork might work?
3. Run the clutch bleed procedure and make sure the plunger actually moves.
Important: do not run the clutch bleed with the plunger in free air or it will pop all the way out of the clutch slave and it will not be repairable.

I'm out of ideas. My first thought is that the PLCD sensor in the clutch slave isn't working. But since its new maybe you got a bad unit?
Maybe a wiring issue?

Are you using INPA or a different tool to do the SMG adaptations?

Yeah, i heard everything moving around... sound normal (as in likeit usually sounds over the years). When i shift manually, everything sounds quite. Hmm... the actuator passes every time.

Not sure.
When I try to do the clutch adaptation I can hear the fork moving the pressure plate.
But doing the clutch bleed you just hear the hydraulic cylinder pumping. Its basically the same as someone continuously pumping the clutch pedal on a manual. Do you hear anything when trying you do the clutch bleed?

Youre sure the clutch slave is installed correctly with the plunger in the fork?

Again, new ckutch, spring, slave cyl. Any other suggestions?

i've never had your issue before but i've seen people needing to do it 20 times.Originally posted by x Spades x View PostJust wanted to check in... how mant tines did you gues try bleeding the slave/clutch (test 2), before it finally passed?
Just trying to gauge the number of attempts.
