Half-cage that doesn't require drilling into body?

Any that bolt right up to standard fixing points? Only ones I've found are in UK and don't ship to USA

If you need a half-cage, install it properly by having it properly welded in. A cage isn't something to do half-a**ed.

I guess he doesn't like sage advice.

Bolt in cages are fine as long as they’re built properly….

Yes. Although, I'm not sure if I would trust a cage that bolts to "factory" locations such as the rear seat belt bolts. Bolt-in cages generally go through specific parts of the frame and have a backing plate on the other side or use multiple bolts on a plate to spread the load.

I can make you one if you wish. Would be pretty similar to the U-weld kit I was making but without the rear subframe tie-in.

I too am interested in a 100 percent bolt in half cage. Not wanting to drill into floor boards on my example either. The cage is for aesthetics for me not functionality.

Anyone have input on a cage that fits this bill?

Heck yeah. Weight addition will be minimal. Can you make and hand deliver for me?

that'd acutally be easier on the noggin for the guys wanting to run a cage on the street with stock seats/seatbelts

this company is canada based and used to be a popular choice because it was full bolt on.
it's important to acknowledge that functionally most would consider this an overbuilt harness bar and not an actual "half cage"

They dont respond well to customers wanting to buy unfortunately. I heard they went out of business during covid; however, I still contacted them about 2 months ago and owner said still makes them. I sent follow up email asking to buy. Can't get him to respond...

I don't get it. How are you going to mount the main hoop to the floor of the car if it doesn't bolt or weld in somewhere? I've seen some where the rear supports mount to the shock tower.
